It was another active week at St Clare College, Primary B School San Gwann, as the fourth part of the school’s project titled: Tomorrow We Grow Differently, was implemented. This diversity project was initiated two scholastic year with the aim of empowering students and the school community to acknowledge and accept differences among individuals, learn to respect others to live and grow together in harmony.

Whilst past years’ project focused on the Asian, European and African continents, the project now focused on the Australasian (Oceania) continent. The students conducted research on the cultural diversity of various Oceania countries. Students had the opportunity to work on the project in summer and both during and after school hours. The result was a colourful event on the 25th November 2009, wherein all the hard work was presented in a showcase for all to celebrate. |

On this occasion, a kaleidoscope of cultures were mingled together beautifully like the colours of the rainbow. All are equally important and all need each other to make a whole! This is what our school believes in and this is reflected in our school’s motto: Together We Grow! We all need each other and collective, whatever our skin colour, our religion, our mother language, our abilities, our culture or our origin, we can grow holistically. There can be ‘Unity in Diversity’ if we all give our share to work at it!
